When I moved from New York to Grosse Pointe, I purchased an older home in need of new windows. I knew that I wanted Pella windows so I called the corporate offices in Iowa and simply asked them, “Who is the best Pella Window Installation Specialist in Michigan?” Without missing a beat, the customer representative replied, “Bob Warunek.” The Customer Rep told me that Bob attends every new training and updating session faithfully every six months. I asked for his # and fortunately he is based in the Metro Detroit area and his son Rob, the Pella Sales Rep came and met me at my home. There was no sales pressure whatsoever! Rob listened intently to what I wanted and offered suggestions when I asked and then he went back to his office and wrote up the cost estimate.



The work I needed done was complex and required removing an entire door way and tearing down walls. I could not be more pleased with the work that Bob and his associates have done at my home. More importantly, Bob is extremely gracious when I call and ask him a question or if I need him to come back and make an adjustment. I have additional work that needs to be done and I would not consider working with anyone other that Bob, Rob and Donna Warunek. This is indeed a “family business” and each one of them are people of integrity and nothing is more important to me.

An early favor you might remember was when you reinstalled the burglar alarm sensor in our kitchen doorwall, which save me from having to call out the alarm company. During your last visit, you happily installed the Hardiborad under the arched window. The appearance is perfect, and this will save me a maintenance headache in the future.

I had Pella replacement windows installed in my home by Air-Tite. I was very pleased with the professional approach with the sales and installation staff at Air-Tite. As a single woman, I did not feel pressured or uncomfortable with the information that was provided by the salesman. All my questions were answered with great detail and in a comprehensive manner. The installation staff completely cleaned up the areas as though they were never there once the windows were installed. All that was left behind were the beautiful windows that were installed in my home. The custom workmanship on the final molding around the windows was flawless. I’m sure that members of your staff carefully crafted the enclosed survey, but sometimes though carefully written there is something else that needs to be added, that’s what happens when you have someone else representing your fine company, its products and services.

I became aware of your company when my neighbor suggested that my wife and I contact Air-Tite Replacement, a company which he had successfully used in having Pella windows installed in his home. I am glad that my wife and I took his recommendation. We had looked at having our windows repaired rather than replaced, eventually we would face additional repair costs down the road regarding the windows.

It was in meeting Robert Warunek, owner of Air-Tite Replacement, that we learned about the advantages of using Pella over other window companies which are frequently advertised on television.
